P.E.A.C.E Project - Theatrikos Theatre Company
Description
P.E.A.C.E. stands for Prevention Education and Creative Expression. When educating youth about societal issues affecting their lives, it has been proven that the most powerful educators are other young people. The use of theatre is particularly effective to explore personal and sensitive issues surrounding violence. The P.E.A.C.E. Project is a traveling theatre troupe of over twenty-five young people from local high schools working together to produce an original theatrical performance that includes dramatic vignettes, poetry, dance, art and music. P.E.A.C.E. was created in partnership between Theatrikos Theatre Company and Northland Family Help Center.
